Now Hyber is starting a collaboration with Boob, a Swedish brand whose mission is to empower women during pregnancy and nursing by providing them with sustainable solutions, made with care - for both the mother who will wear the item, and for future generations. Since 2000, Boob has been at the forefront with smart designs and sustainable products for conscientious mothers.
As part of the collaboration, both companies will become pioneers in making it possible to rent clothes for pregnancy and nursing. The range consists of two packages that can be rented for 3 months: The "pregnancy package" and the "breastfeeding package" each consisting of three garments, selected especially to suit the needs of each phase of the journey through motherhood.
Through the partnership with Boob, Hyber will expand its product range and offer its members products from pregnancy through the toddler years.
“At Hyber, we are always looking for new ways to simplify life for families with children, or soon-to-be families with children, in a sustainable way. That’s why we’re so pleased to present our partnership with Boob Design. We share a similar target group and values, and with our collaboration we can make the rental of maternity and nursing clothes available to a wider audience,” explains Olivia Rothschild, one of Hyber's founders.
Earlier this year, Hyber conducted a survey among their members to explore the demand for renting nursing and maternity clothes, and to determine what the target group expects. The results speak for themselves and have been the basis for the product selection. Three out of four mothers stated that renting maternity and nursing clothes feels completely natural, and 65% are primarily interested in renting the basics.
“We are proud to introduce this opportunity to rent maternity and nursing clothes. We are humbled by the challenge of establishing new behaviors in this product category and look forward to paving the way for a new, conscious, comfortable and sustainable form of consumption,” Olivia Rothschild continues.
For Boob, the collaboration is yet another step towards a more circular business.
”We are very proud of the fact that our clothes have had a high resale value since Day 1. They are often used by two, three and sometimes more mothers. The ability to rent our garments is one more way to take greater responsibility for and expand our circular business,” says Mia Seipel, CEO and Creative Director at Boob Design. “And we are so proud to be doing it with Hyber, who are professionals and pioneers in the field.”
